What is the Best Christmas Dessert?

Throughout the Christmas season, one of the things many people do around the world is bake desserts. There are many different varieties of sweets that are made, but some are definitely fan favorites.

According to cw33.com, author Abbey Bowling presents a table showing the most popular Christmas desserts in every state of the United States.

At the top of the list, sugar cookies are the most favored in a total of 15 states. Closely in second, red velvet is the most popular in 11 states. Third, hot chocolate and marshmallows are favored the most in six states.

Closer to the bottom of the table, fudge is the most popular Christmas dessert in a total of five states with gingerbread man cookies closely after being mostly liked by four states.

On the very bottom, pecan pie is after the gingerbread man cookies with a total of three states in favor. Candy canes and peppermint bark both had two states each that voted for the most popular dessert. Lastly, cinnamon rolls, apple pie, and chocolate pudding are all the most popular in one state each.
