Closer to the bottom of the table, fudge is the most popular Christmas dessert in a total of five states with gingerbread man cookies closely after being mostly liked by four states.
On the very bottom, pecan pie is after the gingerbread man cookies with a total of three states in favor. Candy canes and peppermint bark both had two states each that voted for the most popular dessert. Lastly, cinnamon rolls, apple pie, and chocolate pudding are all the most popular in one state each.
