During the most festive time of the year, people are searching for fun activities that they can share with their families and friends.
There are many exciting things to do during the Christmas season, one of which is snowboarding. RHS Sophomore Ethan Schlasinger stated, “Snowboarding is very fun and thrilling because I get to go with friends and have a good time.” If interested in participating, Perfect North Slopes is a great place to start. They offer tickets for children and adults, prices varying based on age, as well as lessons from instructors.
Another way to enjoy the holiday season with loved ones is by looking at Christmas lights. Even just driving through neighborhoods, friends and family can connect with one another by sharing the sights of the festively lighted houses. If interested, you could also pay to look at professionally done light shows, some even match the beat with the radio music in your car.
If you would like to stay inside away from the cold weather, you could watch Christmas movies, build gingerbread houses, or bake Christmas cookies. RHS Senior Miles Paff mentioned, “Every year my family bakes Christmas cookies together on Christmas Eve and it’s my favorite part of the evening.” Paff also explained that he loves watching movies with friends, and that it always gets him in the Christmas spirit.
Christmas is right around the corner, so make sure to get your holiday festivities in now!
