As the weather transitions into warmer temperatures for spring and summer, everyone is beginning to find things to do for fun. Following that, Ross High School’s spring break is coming up, and it will be from April 1, 2025, through April 4, 2025. If you are unsure of what to do, Hamilton, OH has a variety of activities for families and friends to enjoy.
To start, a great place to go in the warmer weather would be the Holiday Auto Theatre. Yes, people go to the movie theatre all the time. However, having the option to have the same experience outdoors makes it more fun and exciting.
RHS Junior Rachel Estridge stated, “I enjoy watching the movie from my car outside with my family. I also like how they still have movie food and snacks for you to buy.”
Even though the weather is getting warmer, the spring season also comes with rain. Another destination you can try out is the Studio. At this location, you can paint and decorate a variety of different pottery pieces to your custom liking.
RHS Junior Kyla Bryant stated, “The Studio has great prices for what you get to do there. I also enjoy how you get to paint the pottery however you want to. I recommend everyone to go.”
If you are looking for a place to take photos, concerts outside, and events for holidays Marcum Park and Rivers Edge is a great place to try out. This destination includes an amphitheater that has concerts throughout the summer and a festival for the fourth of July.
Along with Rivers Edge, Marcum Park is on the same property which is a great place for photos and scenery. This could be for homecoming, prom, or even personal photos for yourself with the different statues and set-ups they have.
RHS Sophomore Ozzy Allen stated, “I like how Marcum Park has scenery, especially the big heart fountain in the middle.”
As the weather gets warmer, these locations are something everyone should look forward to. If you are lost on how to spend your spring break for the 2025 season, go check them out.
