Feeling hot? Sweat? Well, as spring approaches, so does the rising temperature and there’s nothing that’ll cool you down like a a certain dessert from a certain cool place, Flubs.
Flubs is a 59-year-old family-owned business that sells many dairy products such as ice cream, parfaits, and shakes. There are currently three Flub stores in Ohio. One in Easton Avenue, another in Hamilton Cleves, and a third in Wessel Drive. Currently, Easton Avenue opens at Sunday from 12 in the morning until 9, Monday through Thursday from eleven through 9, and Friday to Saturday from 11 to 9, while Hamilton Cleve’s opens from Sunday through Thursday from 12 to nine, and Friday to Saturday from 12 to 9.
When interviewing Sophomore Ava Curran, a student who previously had worked for Flubs, she states, “I only worked at Flubs for a summer and I’d say it’s really fun,” and when asked what she would recommend to people to get at Flubs, she said “The sunday hot fudge with M’n’M’s“
Next, asking Sophomore, Alianna Molter, how long they had had Flubs, they replied with, “since I was five.” When asked what she usually gets, she answered, “I love the chocolate ice cream,” recommending others to get it. On the other hand, Motlers recommends to “avoid the blueberry flavor.”
Lastly, when asking Ruby Beers what her favorite Flubs dessert was, she said, “The banana splits. I loved it ever since I was five,” while exclaiming that “everyone should try one.”
So, if you ever feel your body covered in steamy hot sweat, you can always go to Flub’s to cool down.
