Carter Murphy is a Sophomore staff writer for the 2026 Ross High Times newspaper. He joined journalism because he likes to know “the why” behind the story while documenting it. Murphy became a staff writer for Ross High Times because he loves the stories that he can create and put out for the world to see, and show his friends and family. He is also nearly fluent in Spanish and speaks the language very well. He plays basketball in his free time as a way to relax and have fun either with friends or competitively. He is fun to be around, likes to cook, and play sports. Murphy is outgoing and helps others when they are in need.
