NCAA College Basketball by itself isn’t that popular compared to college football but come March time, college basketball popularity skyrockets. 68 of the best teams compete to become March Madness Champions.

 

To get selected for the March Madness tournament by a ten-person committee, or by winning one of the 32 postseason conference tournaments. There are lots of factors that go into the choosing process. CBS stated,” The selection process is based on a variety of factors, such as a team’s strength of schedule during the regular season, the quality of its wins such as whether the wins came on the road or at home, and how the team performed statistically, both on the offensive and defensive end.”

The tournament is single elimination and has six rounds till you are crowned as the champion. The first four games are always held in Dayton, Ohio with the rest of them being in various cities until the final four. The final four will be held at the State Farm Stadium, the Arizona Cardinals’ home field.

 

The odds for someone to fill out a perfect bracket is a one in nine quintillion chance. Every year Warren Buffett will give one million dollars to someone with a perfect bracket which is yet to be done. Someone will be regarded as a sports legend if a perfect bracket does happen. The closest person ever to a perfect bracket was perfect to the elite eight.
